Two ERC Starting Grants for FPP

The European Union has freed a substantial budget with the ERC grants (1.5 million euro each grant) for ground-breaking research that is initiated by excellent researchers themselves.

Jacqueline Vink investigates the complex combination of genes and environmental factors in the use of substances (nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, and cannabis) and addiction.  The proposal of Sander Koole is titled “Embodied emotion regulation” and deals with how people may use their body in emotion regulation.
