Want to prepare yourself for the Dutch GZ-opleiding? Do a clinical internship
As of coming academic year (September 2012), you can enhance your study programme by doing a clinical internship. In combination with the courses already in the programme, this will enable you to live up to the admission requirements for the Dutch GZ-opleiding after graduating from the Research Master Cognitive Neuropsychology.
Note: Entry into the clinical internship is subject to an appropriate BA training.
Minimal requirements:
- You are fluent in Dutch (level: NT2 4, or higher)
- You have a Dutch academic bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the VU or other Dutch university.
- You have completed the majority of subjects required for the ‘GZ-aantekening’, except for the clinical internship and at most 12 additional EC.
- You have completed the majority of subjects required for the ‘BAPD-aantekening’, except for the requirements on Praktijkvaardigheid and Diagnostische praktijkervaring.
NOTE: Students with a Dutch academic bachelor’s degree in Psychology from another university than the VU are obliged to seek approval for entry into the clinical internship by sending a letter of request to the Admissions Committee. Students who do not have a Dutch academic bachelor’s degree in Psychology are not eligible for this clinical internship. An exception may be made if a student has completed two BA studies, one of which was Psychology, and then chose to graduate in the other degree.
