Cognitive Neuropsychology

Curriculum


The aim of the Research Master is to provide students with the skills and knowledge to interpret clinical neuropsychological cases in terms of cognitive and neuropsychological theories. Moreover, students learn to use those cases to improve these theories. The Research Master program aims to provide students with the knowledge to become professional researchers within the area of Cognitive Neuropsychology. The curriculum consists of multiple courses in cognitive psychology, clinical neuropsychology, neuroscience, and general academic skills concerning methodology, writing, and modern brain imaging techniques.

The curriculum consists of obligatory courses (102 ECTS) and elective courses (18 ECTS).
For a couple of courses specific previous knowledge is required. Students lacking this knowledge may have to follow an extra (deficiency) course.
