Professional interests
Annemieke van Straten is concerned with the following research topics:
- Common mental disorders - the disorders which are most prevalent in society and cause most burden of disease
- Cost-effective mental health care: the scarce mental health care facilities should be allocated most efficiently and effectively
- Evidence based interventions – which interventions are most (cost) effective
- Stepped care – the most (cost-)effective interventions need to be allocated most efficiently
- Performance management / quality of care– the outcomes of routine mental health care should be monitored closely in order to enhance quality of care
She supervises several PhD projects, e.g.:
